Training Coordinator III

HOW A TRAINING COORDINATOR III WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

The Mission Command Training Center (MCTC) Training Coordinator will Coordinate the CECOM instructor training calendar and student enrollment administrative tasks.  Assist CECOM instructors, and MTC-K leadership, in managing the lifecycle of student learning experience.  The Lifecycle includes Course marketing, Class enrollment, Alignment of training objectives, sharing training techniques, Student graduation, Collection of student/leadership feedback on instructors, and Documenting lessons learned.  Will be able to communicate feedback to instructors, GDIT Regional Manager, MTC-K leadership, and CECOM government lead.  The coordinator shall facilitate student enrollment activities, including course registration, data aggregation for attendance, communication with students, and coordination with the ATRRS manager in the theater.  Provides feedback to the Regional Manager on instructor course after-action reviews, points of instruction, and student feedback.  Coordinates all TDY actions with the Regional Manager, MTC-K government leads, instructors, and CECOM government lead.  Organizes support schedules for instructor training, MTC-K supported exercises, and other planned instructor activities.  Training Coordinator will monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and instructors.  Conduct assessments/surveys to ascertain the effectiveness and real-world application of coursework.  Maintain and update the Program of Instruction (POI)

Maintain knowledge of systems and support/conduct training as required.

The MCTC Training Coordinator will also serve as the Knowledge Manager for the program: He will develop, refine, document, and maintain training coordinator SOPs, course POIs, records of training, and related data. Stay abreast of trends and best practices in training and development to enhance the learning experience for soldiers. Recommend innovative approaches to training based on emerging technologies. Provide input and participate in planning for training and exercises. Develop tools for accountability of equipment. Develop tools for tracking the maintenance of equipment. Develop tools to capture training metrics. Generate reports based on authoritative data using Key Performance Indicators (KPI) as directed. Provide weekly status reports to GDIT Regional Manager, MTC-K government lead, and CECOM government lead.

Provide GDIT Regional Manager, MTC-K government lead, and CECOM government lead status of support on any encountered issues.

The MCTC Training Coordinator will coordinate exercise support of the instructor staff to support 8A and its Major Subordinate Commands (MSCs) in conducting training and exercise events, including BDE and Below units, IOT enhance unit readiness. Coordinate integration lines of efforts between Mission Commands Systems and Simulation Systems. Coordinate required tasks with GDIT team to support Thread Testing events. Provide over-the-shoulder support on Mission Command systems to soldiers during exercises as directed by the MTC-K.

The MCTC Training Coordinator will assist in Training Equipment Management and Coordinate New Equipment Fielding to Mission Training Command – Korea.  Will identify requirements for new equipment as required.  Plan and provide courses of action (COA) to facilitate successful fielding and installation of new equipment.  Develop and maintain New Equipment POIs

Execute the COAs approved by the government and provide updates.

The MCTC Training Coordinator will act as the Alternate (backup) Instructor.  Duties will include serving as backup/alternate course instructor for at least two systems to provide maximum flexibility for class scheduling, assist instructors with course delivery, and provide continuity of operations if a full-time instructor cannot teach.  Mission Command systems supported for this position are the following: AFATDS, AMDWS, CPOF, CPCE, DCGS-A, JADOCS, JBC-P, TAIS, TSI servers, and any future fielded systems.  The training coordinator must be familiar with the listed systems.


WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
● Education: AA/AS
● Required Experience: 5+ years of related experience
● Security Clearance Level: SECRET
● Required Skills and Abilities: Communication, problem solving, ability to work on tight schedules

● Preferred Skills: Instructor qualified or experienced as operator on systems to be instructed, management of small teams.
● Location: On Customer Site
