Position

Summary
This position is the Construction Estimator & Manager for projects which are executed by *** Korea.
The incumbent is accountable for all aspects and for all disciplines (including Civil, Mechanical,
Electric and Instrument) of developing construction scopes and resultant cost, for most phases of
estimating.
The activities include, identifying construction-related risks, providing accurate and competitive
construction cost estimation to support opportunity win, developing BOQ and evaluating bidders’
quotation to support construction bidding, managing construction changes and re-measurement during
execution phase, and developing construction productivity. And also he or she is responsible for
executing “Construction Projects” within the approved On-stream schedule with high quality
and zero incident.
He or she should plan, organize and control all construction field activities for the designated projects
and duration to ensure that the project construction be fulfilled safely, with high standard quality,
on schedule and within budget if necessary.

* REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

: 건설 사무실 현장경력 10년 이상 중 관련경력 5년이상자로 공사비 산출 등의 경험이 있는 분

- Bachelor degree or above, majored in budget/estimation and construction engineering or equivalent
- 10+ years working experience in total, 5+ years in construction estimation for industrial gas plant
construction projects, chemical or petrochemical projects
- Fluent spoken and written English.
- Very familiar with construction market prices and keep monitoring them regularly and updating the latest
unit prices and clarify their competitiveness of each unit price.
- Ability to multi-tasks, managing several activities at any time.
- Knowledge of project execution & site management
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to travel and be based in remote location in Korea and/or other countries.

*Advantages:
- Knowledge and experience of industrial gas projects, especially coal gasification /purification projects.
- Experience in construction management and/or construction estimation in international engineering
company or high ranked local EPC.
- Knowledge and experience on construction subcontract management.
- Knowledge and experience on various construction types of contracts.
- Has certificates, licenses or experience related to the construction or estimation.
