A truly exciting opportunity for a talented Senior Service Engineer to join Servomex, the world leader in gas analysis and part of the FTSE 250 Spectris Group on the London Stock Exchange.
The Senior Service Engineer will provide after sales support for all Servomex gas analysers and sample systems. This role will primarily focus on field service repairs but will include in house workshop repairs as well as providing remote telephone/email technical support to our customers/partners.
70% of the role will be field based with travel across Korea (70%) and Japan (30%) with 30% based in our workshop in Seoul, Korea.

About the role:
Primary responsibility will be undertaking Field Service duties across the region. Handle customer and channel partner telephone calls and emails, providing excellent customer service and technical assistance in a timely manner. Primary responsibility focused on Field Service work. Undertake workshop service, calibration, and repairs. Support rental stock and assist in the administration of the rental program by service and calibrating returned analysers and making them available for customers. Receive equipment to be serviced, in a timely manner, and position the department for successful turnaround. Conduct timely evaluations of instruments and provide technically compliant quotations to the service coordinator for distribution. Complete repair reports and any other required reports/documentation Ensure that Servomex equipment meets the relevant health and safety and local safety requirements. Engagement and support of Servomex SBS and 5S objectives Ensure customers are aware of the advantages of our training programs and maintenance contracts and up sell at every opportunity. Document customer feedback/VOC related to service process and product issues and support initiatives to improve performance. Ensure all works are carried out safely, reporting all near misses, continually improving health and safety.About You:
Essential Education, Skills and Experience:
A proven track record of working within a Field Service Engineer position with demonstrable experience of installing, troubleshooting and repairing gas analysers (Gas chromatographs) or comparable equipment Strong Electronic and Instrumentation background Experienced in providing various levels of customer training Excellent trouble shooting capabilities to solve problems Ability to interpret maintenance manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams Competent SAP user Good written and verbal English skills and must be fluent in Korean. Ability to work and communicate with multicultural partners University degree (or equivalent) - technical discipline preferredLocation : Seoul, Korea
