Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
To compose and implement strategies for TaylorMade hardgood products, catering for the needs of the customers and consumers in Korea.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyse the Korean market / consumers to ensure constant improvement of product demand in terms of sell-in, sell-through & SKU efficiency
Developing the local product strategy for TaylorMade products with launch plans, strategic pricing & channel segmentation strategies based on global/regional directions and the local market situation
Provide relevant information & input on products and consumer needs to local management in order to maximize business opportunities.
Drive Go To Market (GTM) process and team alignment (Product, Marketing, Sales, Retail, and Supply Chain) for all new product launches to maximize sales and impact to end consumers.
Work closely with Supply Chain Management Team on initial Wave planning by SKU (new product intro), Regional Sales Forecasts, and overall sales plans to ensure smooth inventory flow into all markets.
Provide the local product strategy to relevant personnel
Product Launch support including Launch Event Presentations, Media Interviews, demo events, salesman training, retailer training, etc.
Collect and analyze market trends and conditions for all key Retailers, Competitors, and Consumers
Sample management according to sample management process
Drive custom business
Key Relationships:
Marketing team, Sports Marketing team, Sales team, A/S, Operations team, Finance team, TM Global Product Marketing Team, Global Marketing Communications Team
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Strong interpersonal and communication skill
Strong knowledge of sales channel, commercial and finance
Strategic Thinking
Business awareness of Market
Ability to define problems, collect/ analyze data
Having market insights in Golf/Sports industry
MS-Office skills
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
- More than 5 years of experience in golf/sports industry
- University degree or equivalent
- Native Korean and Fluent English (written & oral)
