Junior Banker

The role is part of CCBSI Korea team within the Commercial Banking and is based in Seoul.

As a junior banker within Corporate Client Banking & Specialized Industries (CCBSI) team, you will assist managing relationships with Korea-headquartered companies focusing on clients with global operation and growth aspiration. CCBSI provides traditional Corporate Banking products as well as Investment Banking products to its clients. Our business partners include product specialists from M&A Advisory, Equity and Debt Capital Markets, Markets Sales, Payments, Credit and Risk Management.

Job responsibilities

Provide support to deal teams and country leadership, with accountability for pitch book preparation, transaction execution, document credit requests and general country-level reporting requirements, while ensuring seamless coordination among deal team members, product partners and internal stakeholders on a regular basis Provide help to gain, manage and maintain client relationships and generate new revenue opportunities either from prospects or existing clients in close coordination with corporate bankers Build skill sets and knowledge to eventually transition into a corporate banker role over time with direct client management responsibility. This will require the candidate to have the ability to manage client relationship and provide solutions to the clients across the corporate banking products

  Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Strong credit and financial modeling skills and knowledge of Corporate and/or Investment Banking products Excellent problem solving and detail-oriented analytical capabilities Highly motivated, a self-starter and a team player Outstanding ethics, integrity and judgment Strong oral and written communication skills in Korean and English Superior Excel and Power Point skills

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skill

Previous work experience of minimum 2 years, preferably in Corporate Banking or related client facing roles Relevant Corporate Banking and/or Investment Banking experience with a strong corporate finance/credit background Prior participation in a banking analyst training program
