[직무 소개]

쿠팡이츠 (Coupang Eats)는 식당과 카페로부터 양질의 음식을 문 앞까지 배달해 주는 쿠팡의 서비스입니다. 우리는 쿠팡이츠의 구성원인 고객, 배달파트너, 가맹점 모두에게 빠르고 원활한 서비스 경험을 제공하기 위해 노력하고 있습니다.

Product Designer는 개별 기여자(Individual Contributor)로서 쿠팡이츠의 최우선순위 프로젝트를 수행합니다. 이해관계자 및 고위 경영진과 긴밀히 협업하며 본인의 비전과 아이디어를 구체화합니다. 본 포지션은 아이디어를 빠르게 도출하고 실행할 수 있는 능력을 요구합니다.

[역할 및 책임]

전략적 파트너 - 프로덕트 오너, 개발자, 마케터, 법무팀, 인사팀과 긴밀히 협업하여 쿠팡이츠의 전략적 접근방식을 정의하고, 고객 문제를 파악하며, 다양한 선택지의 장단점을 검토합니다. 본인의 팀과 함께 쿠팡 비즈니스에 긍정적으로 작용할 수 있는 방안을 통해 사용자들의 문제를 해결합니다. 커뮤니케이션 능력을 발휘하여 리더들이 하나의 전략적 비전 아래 뜻을 모을 수 있도록 돕습니다.

[The role]

Coupang Eats is a service by Coupang where we deliver quality food and beverages from restaurants and cafes to your door. We strive to provide a fast and seamless experience for all three parties involved: the customer, delivery partner and merchant.

The Product Designer will be an individual contributor who works on top priority projects for Coupang Eats. This designer will work closely with the stakeholders and senior leadership, making their vision and ideas tangible. This position requires rapid ideation and execution skills.

[Roles and Responsibilities]

Strategic Partner – You will partner closely with Product Owners as well as engineers, marketers, legal, and HR to help to define our strategic approach, identify customer problems, and weigh tradeoffs. You and your team will be responsible for solving user problems in a way that positively impacts Coupang's business. And your skills as a communicator will help align leaders behind a strategic vision.

Hands on product designer and creative leader – The Coupang Eats Product Design Team is a hands-on design culture. We expect skilled designers that exemplify thoughtful process, refined design, and a customer-centric perspective when solving design problems. You must also must be confident and comfortable in directing their team and demanding excellence in every details, as you will be responsible for the pace and quality of your team's output.

Holistic problem solver – Designers at Coupang must think systematically and use both intuition and evidence (data, benchmarks of best practices, testing and analysis, etc) to find solutions to customer problems.

[Key Experience ]

5+ years of experience delivering high quality designs.

Closely partnered with Product Owners & leadership team to develop strategy and rationale for large and complex features, projects, or programs.

Collaborated with diverse teams in a dynamic, rapid growth environment, fast paced start up environment.

Track record of using data and quantitative research methodologies to inform decision making across the entire product design process/lifecycle.

Domain knowledge of e-commerce and understanding of the complexities of a marketplace/consumer platform model.

Portfolio demonstrating your work with at least 1 product / design that was released to users with an understanding of target users, user journey and visual design skills

[Traits and Competencies]

Able to operate autonomously to manage projects in a fast-paced environment and remain focused amidst frequently changing requirements.

Able to pitch and hold in depth discussions with design, product and business leaders

Loves food

Fluency in both English and Korean preferred, but not required.
