조직소개
Ecommerce Engineering 조직의 Mobile Engineering 팀은 쿠팡 앱의 end to end 고객 쇼핑 경험을 책임지고 있는 조직입니다. 쿠팡 앱 접속부터, 상품 리뷰, 장바구니, 주문 후 리뷰까지 고객의 모든 쇼핑 여정을 함께하고 있으며, 로켓 프레쉬, 로켓배송, 로켓직구 등 다양한 도메인 서비스를 통해 고객의 삶을 바꿔나가고 있습니다. 뛰어난 웹/앱 프로그래밍 이해도를 바탕으로, 대규모 트래픽과 트랜잭션 관리 등을 통해 신뢰도 높은 시스템을 구축하며 대고객 서비스에 필요한 API와 아키텍쳐를 제공합니다.
직무소개
Staff 엔지니어는 쿠팡앱의 개발팀에서 중요한 역할 담당합니다. 프로덕트를 개발하고 기술적인 전략을 수립하고, Tech 과제를 리딩합니다. 뿐만 아니라, 고객 경험에 대한 깊은 이해를 바탕으로 비니지스 요구사항을 구현하기 위한, 최적의 해법을 제시하는 데에 핵심역할을 수행합니다.
담당업무
• Android 엔지니어들이 높은 생산성을 유지하면서 동시에 높은 품질의 안정적인 개발을 할 수 있도록 Android의 아키텍처를 지속적으로 개선
• 다양한 팀의 이해관계자들과 협업하며, 쿠팡앱의 기술적인 전략와 로드맵을 제시
• 중요한 기술 과제에 대한 우선순위와 전략을 수립하고, 엔지니어들을 리드하여 목표를 달성
• 팀의 engineering excellence를 계속해서 높은 수준으로 끌어올리는 Bar raiser 역할
필수사항
• 10년 이상의 Android 개발 경력
• 대규모 사용자를 가진 고객 서비스를 개발한 경험
• 5명 이상의 팀에서 코드리뷰를 포함한 개발 프로세스에 대한 경험
• 동료 개발자들, 관련 팀들과 커뮤니케이션하고 헙업할 수 있는 능력

• 3년 이상의 Tech lead 경험
• E-commerce 서비스 개발 경험
• Global 팀에서의 협업 경험
Mobile Engineering Team
The Mobile Engineering team of the ecommerce engineering organization is responsible for the end to end customer shopping experience of the Coupang app. From access to Coupang app, product reviews, shopping carts, and post-order reviews, we are on all of our customers' shopping trips together, and we are changing their lives through various domain services such as rocket fresh, rocket delivery, and rocket direct purchase. With a strong understanding of web/app programming, it builds reliable systems through large-scale traffic and transaction management and provides APIs and architectures needed for customer service.
Staff Engineer
The staff engineer has a central role in the development team of the Coupang app. Their responsibilities are developing the product, setting the technical strategy, and leading the technical projects. Additionally, they play a crucial role in proposing the best solutions for business requirements in time based on deep understanding of customer experiences.
Responsibilities
• Continuously improve the Android architecture to ensure that Android engineers can maintain high productivity and stability in quality
• Build and develop the technical strategy and roadmap for the Coupang app by collaborating with stakeholders from various teams
• Establish priorities and strategies for critical technical projects and lead engineers to achieve goals
• Bar raiser to continuously elevate the team's engineering excellence to a higher level
Required
• Over 10 years of experience in Android development
• Experience in developing customer service for large-scale user bases
• Experience with development process including code reviews, in teams of 5 or more members
• Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with engineers and related teams
Preferred
• Over 3 years of experience as a tech lead
• Experience in developing e-commerce services
• Experience collaborating in a global team
