Join our team as a Medical Appointment Clerk and play a vital role in ensuring seamless patient scheduling and communication.
About the Role- Answer patient calls in a timely manner, ensuring 90% of calls are answered within 90 seconds.
- Minimize abandoned calls to 8% or less.
- Answer calls for each appointment line within 45 seconds.
- Maintain an average talk time of 180 seconds or less per call.
- Address customer complaints in a professional manner, with no more than two complaints per month.
- Attend monthly access to care meetings to stay informed and aligned with clinic goals.
- Collaborate with clinic managers to review and update booking protocols as needed.
- Operate standard office equipment, including personal computers, copiers, fax machines, and telephone systems.
- Understand general medical ethics, telephone etiquette, and excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong English language skills, including reading, writing, and speaking.
- A High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED) equivalency certificate.
- At least one year of experience in medical administration, office management, scheduling, or practice management within the last five years.
