The VFX Supervisor is a key member of our creative leadership team, responsible for overseeing the visual effects process from start to finish. This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise, creative vision, and leadership skills.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced VFX Supervisor to join our team in Seoul. The successful candidate will have a strong background in visual effects, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage large-scale visual effects projects, coordinating the output and quality control of Flame and Nuke teams.
• Develop and implement creative solutions to meet client needs, working closely with directors and producers to achieve their vision.
• Lead and mentor junior artists, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality work.
• Collaborate with the CG and Design teams to ensure a seamless pipeline and deliver exceptional results.
• Work closely with clients to advise on the most effective ways to shoot and create their ultimate vision.
• Provide on-set supervision and expertise, ensuring that clients' requirements are met and that the creative process is guided effectively.
• Liaise with international offices to encourage knowledge sharing, planning, and cohesion.
• Continuously research and develop new ideas and techniques to stay at the forefront of the industry.

Requirements

• Experience in Flame/Nuke post-production and a strong understanding of the 2D & CG principles and pipeline.
• Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team of artists.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and financial management skills.
• Expertise in industry-standard software packages, including Flame and Nuke.
• A thorough understanding of directing, lighting, camera work, practical effects, camera gripping, art, and CG.
• Innate sense of composition, light, color, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
• Fluency in English and Korean.
