[Summary]

Being a member of the North Asia HR team, HR BP is responsible for driving the talent and organization agenda and culture initiatives through business partnering, coaching, talent management, organization design and change management to ensure competitive organization which enables the business to drive continued business growth and innovation for our patients.

This position demonstrates leadership to support business, enterprise, and sector HR strategies by engaging and developing people, organization, and culture.

The role will directly report to Head of HR, North Asia Janssen and is to be based in Seoul, South Korea.

[Key responsibilities]

  • Deploy HR strategy in partnership with business leaders to drive business objectives by aligning HR strategy.
  • Design and implement talent strategies to ensure a healthy and diverse talent pipeline for competitive organizations.
  • Partner with business and function leaders to build future-oriented capabilities to enable businesses to drive business growth and innovation.
  • Provide coaching, consulting and guidance to managers and employees to support leadership development, engagement intervention, decision-making, and problem-solving for people performance management, and Credo-based high-performing culture enhancement.
  • Deploy global/standardized HR processes at the business level in the following areas: talent assessment succession planning, career management and performance management.
  • Deliver data-driven insights through diverse internal/external data analysis and drive integrated execution excellence, implement talent and organization strategy.
  • Play a consultative role in employee communication initiatives within client groups
  • Facilitate the resolution of performance management, employee relations, and labor union issues in strong collaboration with Employee Relations and for compliance/ legal matters with Compliance and legal partners for business & organization stabilization and enhancement.
  • Support and lead key projects and deliverables as determined by HR Leadership
  • Partners with Global Service and Corporate Service organizations to implement HR strategies and processes across the organizations with One HR mindset
  • Join or lead HR initiatives and deliverables as determined and needed.
[Requirement]

  • Minimum 10 years of HR related experiences.
  • Strategic, reliable HR partner with critical and analytical skills and business acumen to create integrated solution and to add value to business outcome.
  • Ability to demonstrate the Credo values, enterprise, global mindset, and inclusive leadership.
  • Change management execution capability – Agile and resilient individual with growth mindset to manage complexity and ambiguity. Flexible and adaptive to change.
  • Experience of supporting the execution of large-scale HR project is preferred.
  • Passion to drive employee engagement, good leadership foundation, learning agility.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate with different levels in a large, and complex and matrix working environment.
  • Strong interpersonal, consultative and facilitation skills, coaching skills.
  • Capability to build a trusting relationship, and foster a transparent, compliant, competitive working environment.
  • A strong team player who supports the overall HR objectives with one HR mindset
  • Both fluent English and Korean communication skill to influence for shaping status, and for negotiation for future oriented direction.
  • Strong MS office, data analytic skill with logical thinking for data driven HR management
  • Excellent English skills, spoken and written
