Job Description:

Job Summary

• The purpose of this role is to lead and support overall UPS Korea small package operation in efficient and effective way while meeting customers' demand in various aspects.
• He/She must proactively contribute to the team and actively committed to the team development, as well as support overall department.
• He/She analyzes and responds to operation requests, resolves operation and other function issues for customer demand and service.
• He/She must be meticulous, able to communicate effectively and possess good planning & organizational skills to fulfill requirements of this position, as well as ability to build up the correct procedure to standardize the high quality of UPS service.

Responsibilities

• Ad-hoc capacity adjustment (BT cancel / diversion)
• Short term capacity demand update (DP) per MKT forecast
• Long term capacity demand update (Bid) per MKT forecast
• BP capacity plan review support.
• Network contingency plan development.
• CC flow and cost management.
• Package flow change (FFCR) preparation and support
• Hub process volume forecast and production planning (HRS)
• New system deployment support
• Hub cost management initiative and resource analysis
• Hub PR review analysis and support
• Hub facility capacity plan
• Business Plan and Performance review support
• Standard and Customized operating plan development.
• Contingency plan development.
• Lead and host meetings with customer and vendor.
• Train and communicate with operation staff to make sure they understand and follow standard operation plan.
• Conduct Hub work measurement.
• Internal Audit coordination.
• Any other related project.
• Perform any other task as assigned.

Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree or above is preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of work experience in Logistics or similar area preferred.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills preferred.
• Proficient in English preferred.
• Analytical and numerical approach preferred.
• Problem-solving skills preferred.
• Good IT skills with Excel, Access, and Power BI skill preferred.
• Good planning skills and able to meet targets and deadlines preferred.
• Business trip should be available.

Working Hours / Location

• 40 hours a week (Mon to Fri 09:00 – 18:00, except Public Holiday)
• Lunch Time: 12:00 – 13:00
• 94-3, Mullae-ro, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, Republic of Korea

( If needed, working at operation site. Incheon international airport and UPS each Center and Abroad )
