Our client manufactures steel products and operates on a global scale. They offer a diverse range of
steel products, including steel mill products, rolled products, bright bars, and fabricated steel
products. With a strong international presence, our client has built a robust portfolio of customers
spanning over 40 countries worldwide. With more than 50 years of rolling experience, our client
provides unmatched expertise in the manufacturing of hot-rolled, cold-drawn, and special steel
profiles. Their extensive know-how in producing complex profiles makes them a trusted partner in
the industry.
ABOUT THE JOB
We are currently seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Assistant to join our team. This position
plays a crucial role in the success of our sales department and supports our ongoing
internationalization efforts. As a Sales Assistant, you will be an integral part of our team, contributing
to our growth and helping us expand our reach in the Korean market, ensuring that all objectives,
goals, and targets set are met, and contributing to the overall business objective.
Requirements
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Provide personalized assistance and advice to clients and potential clients in South Korea.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Provide administrative support to the sales team, including managing schedules, preparing documents, and handling correspondence.
- Assist in the preparation and execution of sales presentations, proposals, and contracts.
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients and opportunities for expansion.
- Maintain and update customer databases, ensuring all information is accurate and up-todate.
- Monitor sales performance and generate reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Handle customer inquiries and provide timely and accurate information to assist in the sales process.
- Assist in the development and implementation of sales strategies to achieve company goals.
- Prepare and deliver regular sales reports and forecasts to management.
- Coordinate logistics and delivery schedules to ensure timely fulfillment of orders.
- Support the sales team in organizing and attending trade shows, conferences, and other industry events.
- Excellent command of the English and Korean languages, both in written and oral form. Knowledge of Spanish is a plus.
- Previous experience in a sales support or administrative role in the Steel Sector or naval industry is preferred.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
- Able to identify commercial opportunities and realize potential clients.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities; able to handle negotiations.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
