Sr. Logistics Specialist

The Role: 

We are seeking for accountable employee who is working at Oseong in Pyeongtak and Suwon. This position primarily posts in Oseong plant but engage with other sites as Logistics specialist. You will report to Korea Logistics manager 

In this role you will: 

• Oversight of the distribution center of finished goods from the manufacturing plant to the customers directly or internal stock transfer(STO) through engaging with the plant, Sales, planner and other stakeholders to achieve a customer satisfaction.  

• Communicating with internal stake holders in compliance with regulatory requirements. 

• Working in trade related tasks with classification, valuation, duty drawback, FTA application, bonded program and Country of origin for import and export controls 

• Comply with SOX requirement in verifying revenue recognition with GR and GI, freight verification.  

• Analyzing and reporting the Percentage of Sales and finding improvement plans for cost control 

• Inventory Management with excess, obsolete and scrap 

• Quality management ( DPPM ) in transportation and warehousing 

• Customer supporting and organizing solutions according to customer’s requirements.  

• On Time management (OTS) in term of Commit and Request in SO and STO shipments  

• Following an external audit for ISO/QS certification and customers on quality and safety, taking action for findings 

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop procedures, programs and initiatives designed to achieve Operational Excellence 

• Global transportation according to DOT Certi, IATA, IMDG 

• Operating Local distribution center with temp control and Dangerous goods 

• Process and operation development with 3rd party service provider such as distribution center, customs broker, freight forwarder, etc 

• The successful candidate is expected to operate within the Company’s KPI in terms of compliance, safety, inventory, quality, cost, and delivery  

Traits we believe make a strong candidate: 

• Possess minimum 10 years of experience in the related field in a Manufacturing environment and equivalent, preferable to Semi industry related.  

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, or Industrial Engineering; 

• Competent, highly knowledgeable of US and local Export & Import regulations, compliance requirements, and global freight handling with both air and ocean  

• Possess business acumen with a strong process-driven and customer intimacy mindset. 

• Good presentation, facilitation skills, SAP user and excellence in Microsoft Office 

• Able to communicate effectively in English
