IT Manager in Korea

Reporting to APAC IT Head in Malaysia

Missions :

  • Ensure business continuity and security of the Information Systems (hardware and software)
  • Make the project management to design, select and Implement short- and long-term information technology (IT) solutions that meet the needs of the internal organization at country level and compliant with Group requirements.
  • Support growth and transformation of IT - Installs, configures, administers, upgrades and maintains IT hardware, software, network Infrastructure and security associated.
  • Focuses and orientates on technology needed internally for running / support the business
  • Make reporting expected by the local management and the Group
  • Be in connection/collaborate with the IT Corporate Team (CISO, Group Infrastructure Director, CIO,)

Tasks :

  • Management and in charge of :
  • Local IT Resources (Internal and External)
  • IT Supplier Contracts and relationship
  • IT Budget (Opex and Capex)
  • Equipments (desktop, laptop, printer, server, etc.) and Infrastructure (network, system, backup, DRP,)
  • Security (Network, Software,)
  • IT Helpdesk to ensure appropriate skilled resource are available
  • Ensure internal & external customers are receiving the highest level of support
  • Escalation point for both customers and IT helpdesk staff should an issue require escalating and manage their expectations.
  • Service level provided
  • Provide reporting
  • Continuous improvement efforts in efficiency, reliability and performance of IT services to users across his perimeter
  • Primary project manager for every local IT projects
  • Evolution and upgrade of business applications
  • Roll-out of group solutions as needed or instructed by the Group CIO and other members of IT Corporate team


Skills, Competencies and Qualifications

Management:-

  • Proven experience of leading an IT team.
  • Hands and pragmatic on approach and high focus on implementation
  • Ability to listen and communicate at all levels (Customers, Staff and with local Management team)
  • Ability to lead, drive and embed revised and new processes, procedures and best practices
  • Ability to work professionally and constructively within a team environment providing advice and consultancy
  • Drive to change and constantly improve and grow
  • Budget Management

Business:-

  • Excellent analysis, decision making and problem-solving skills
  • Able to demonstrate experience of project management ideally for an ERP roll-out, convergence, infrastructure projects
  • Experience of working within Customer focussed environment

Technical:-

  • IT skills (Network Infrastructure, Server Virtualisation, Microsoft solutions : Server and User OS Implementations/Management/Support, Office 365 Management, Azure Cloud solutions but also Database management, back-up Solutions, hardware architecture)
  • Detailed level of understanding of data privacy and cybersecurity assessment/regulations and other local Data Protection regulations
  • Project management and development methodology skills
  • Up to date knowledge of current threats and vulnerabilities facing the modern business today with the ability to learn and keep abreast of emerging threats
  • Incident Management (ITIL principle)

Skills/Qualifications:-

  • Preferably, educated to degree level in IT/Engineering
  • Experience of working within a multi-locations organisation
  • Experience of working within technical, global organisation is essential
  • Previous experience of people management is essential
  • High awareness to cyber risks
  • Proven experience of Post Merger Integration
  • Proven experience of ERP deployment & harmonization processes
  • Experience of working within the service industry is desirable
  • Experience of delivering in a global organisation is preferable.
