Job Description:

The Role: 

  • Jr Scientist will be responsible for wet chemical formulation development and optimization. In this role you will be part of a project team tasked with the development of new formulation products to meet customer process solution needs, process development, and product integration over a range of products and processes.  

  • This position is located in Suwon, Korea tech center. This opportunity allows high-level visibility and participation on a dynamic team in a high-tech, growing organization where individual success is recognized and rewarded. 

  • Jr Scientist will work actively and closely with other Scientists and Process engineers at the technology centers in the US and Taiwan 

In this role you will: 

  • Develop innovative technology and create intellectual property on new products and ideas 

  • Facilitate and participate with the integration of the applications lab work  

  • Project manage the schedules of multiple parallel projects in order to provide customers timely information 

  • Meet technical project milestones and work with project/product managers to drive new products through the New Product Introduction (NPI) funnel 

  • Coordinate interactions with cross-functional teams such as Analytical, Applications, Manufacturing, Marketing, and Sales 

  • Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as necessary 

  • Maintain a safe working environment 

  • Ability to travel up to 10%.  

Traits we believe make a strong candidate: 

  • Bachelor (B.S.) or higher in chemistry, chemical engineering, material  

  • Fresh graduate or 3+ years of experience in WET chemistry  

  • Experience and knowledge in Semiconductor Wet processes; 

  • Ability to speak and write English for technical discussion and communication among the global technology centers 

  • Basic computer skills – excel, power point, word
