POSITION SUMMARY

 

Lead and support HR and office administration work for Microbial Solutions & Biologics in South Korea. Work with general management, legal, QA, facility & EH&S, finance/ accounting, sales, customer service and scientific staff to ensure best HR practices are being delivered to CRL Korea.

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES:

 

  • Implement human resources programs by providing human resources services, including talent acquisition, onboarding new employees with health and welfare benefits, training and development, records management, HR safety and health, employee relations and retention, compliance, and labour relations completing personnel HR transactions for file record.
  • Help to ensure the site meets obligations regarding corporate reporting and implementing initiatives such as employee engagement functions, spotlight awards etc.
  • Managing the time and attendance system to ensure accurate records are maintained.
  • Ensure accurate, high-quality work, and adherence to pertinent departmental policies, practices and procedures.
  • Support hiring managers with recruitment requirements i.e., advertising, co-ordinating interviews, arranging medicals, running backgrounds checks, etc.
  • Prepare paperwork, schedule, and facilitate a smooth new hire onboarding process, coordinating with cross-functional departments to deliver an exceptional first day experience.
  • Support information required for HRIS Talent Hub system for site and drive best practice on all details within the system.
  • Ensure regular probationary reviews are conducted at 1/3/6-month intervals and maintain documentary support.
  • Ensure HR files like JD, resumes, etc, are updated & maintained for all personnel.
  • Be a champion of L&D, talent development coordinator for site.
  • Answer questions and provide assistance relating to office operations and established policies and procedures.
  • Serve as a liaison with site Sr. Managers and corporate departments in various HR related initiatives and on-going projects.
  • Assist activities of assigned group to ensure effective performance of function.
  • Perform all other related duties as assigned.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, HR, or related field.
  • Experience: 1 - 3 years related experience as HR Generalist, HR Coordinator, or related job.
    • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above.
  • Certification/Licensures: None.
  • Other:
    • Proficiency in English, both written and speaking
    • Superior knowledge of MS Office
    • Resourceful, problem-solving aptitude and thorough knowledge of HR procedure and policies
    • Deep understanding of Labor Law and employment equity regulations
    • Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, ethics, and cultural awareness
    • Demonstrated skills with work processing, spreadsheet and database applications required
