Facility Engineer

Position Summary:
The ‘Facility Engineer’ position is responsible for oversee operation and managing plant facility such as electricity, machinery, firefighting, HVAC, compressed air, chiller, elevator, UPW, parking & security system and gas required in plant or buildings. Maintaining the productivity of facilities, optimizing energy cost and building. Contribute to improving the productivity of the plant through the successful implementation of construction project. Follow safety rules and collaboration with all departments for safe working environment.
Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
You have to do all the facility work by yourself (No team members)
Report to site director directly and work closely with the site leadership as a facility manager
Carrying out a construction project (Construction work management experience required)
Continual management of plant facilities and building
Ensure compliance regarding local facility laws and global facility standards.
Be responsible for responding to facility related government agencies.
Collaborate with site leadership to develop annual facility targets and tracking progress.
Manage energy consumption in building and seeking avenues to reduce energy expenses.
Collect and apply the latest information on fire safety management, fire related laws and regulations, and conducts periodic fire drills to actively respond to fires.
Compliance with FM global standards and response to FM global audit
Manage contract with vendors and ensuring that all items are invoiced and paid on time.
Make the annual spending plan and handle the budget.
Prompt emergency response in case of facility problems (electric power cut off, equipment malfunction, equipment failure etc.)
Resolve employee improvement requirements and each department requested items
Manage plant facilities and equipment repair/maintenance and construction work conducted by vender
Works with EHS to identify environmental impacts of plant operations and to establish goals and targets around significant environmental impacts.
Administration duties which include Time and attendance, Holiday planning, etc.
Follows and ensures compliance to departmental procedures.
Maintain a safe, secure and welcoming work environment.
Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, Education, Experience):
B.S. degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, industrial engineering or highly related field with over than 15+ years of experience.
Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work
Electrical/firefighting experience at manufacturing plant
Professional knowledge of facility & expertise in electricity, firefighting, machinery
Understanding of global regulation
Experience in leading new and extended projects (building construction, electricity, firefighting, machinery and others) is essential
Good command of English is required for this role due to communication with global coworkers
Electrician license is preferred.
SAP experience preferred.
Ability to travel globally as needed.
Good to have an electrician's license. (전기기사 자격증)
