DuPont Advanced Cleans & Slurry Technologies (ACST) R&D group has an exciting opportunity for a Lead Scientist at Korea Technology Center (KTC) located in Hwaseong, Korea. As the ACST business is accelerating a top-line growth for slurry segment especially in Korea, this role will primarily be responsible for next-gen FEOL slurry platforms development to expand slurry products portfolio.

The lead scientist will drive competitive slurry platform development collaborating with global Slurry R&D groups to strengthen the engagement with Korea top-tier customers. As Slurry R&D started to expand footprint in Korea, this role will also include experimental capabilities set-up in Korea.

To the success of this role, this position requires innovative thinking, open-minded for global cross-functional collaboration, understanding customer needs to deliver technical solutions, and technical background in slurry technology.

Key responsibilities:

Lead next-gen FEOL slurry products development with technical background on Slurry and CMP technology

Design experiments for slurry product development within customer-driven timeline

Develop innovative technical solutions for trouble-shooting

Provide high-quality of technical documents for internal discussion and customer sharing

Work closely with global Slurry R&D scientists and leverage technical expertise

Collaborate with other functions in product development cycle (marketing, sales, raw material engineering, scale-up, and quality teams)

Continue to expand experimental capabilities for KR Slurry R&D activities and establish efficient analytical methodology for next-gen slurry material testing

Train and coach associates to facilitate knowledge build-up about Slurry chemistry

Qualifications:

MS in Chemistry with years of industry experience or Ph.D. in Chemistry with years of industry experience

Experienced in slurry product development with technical background in CMP industry

Technical understanding in material science with chemistry background

Well-organized, innovative, and results-driven

Experience in global collaboration preferred, open mind-set and good communication skill for cross-functional collaboration

English /Korean proficiency in speaking/writing preferred
