Understanding the Business

Prepares cost proposals of services for clients, using applicable questionnaires & worksheets. Sends proposals to clients & conducts follow-up calls to provide further information, answers questions and documents these activities for further follow-up. Determines client needs and expectations and relate necessary information to operations to maintain customer satisfaction. Represents CSA Group as the main contact for these Field Service-related accounts. Develops sales leads gathered through internet research, warm calling, tradeshow leads, trade magazines and other suitable resources. Maintains accurate & complete client files, including the input of new/existing client information into the shared sales database. 

Working Well with Others

Assists as needed with the operations group in opening an application file and completing documentation necessary for accepted proposals. Engages with the Marketing team to provide administrative and coordination support for tradeshows including pre-work, scheduling, mailings, marketing materials, and customer contacts. Works with team to resolve any issues the customer has throughout the life of their project.  Supports the sales process, providing CSA Group information to prospective contacts/leads and referral customers. Determines client needs and expectations and relate necessary information to operations to maintain customer satisfaction.

Delivering Results

Manages the sales process by promptly responding to all inquiries as necessary to present information. Provides Management support in weekly, monthly and annual sales reports and forecasts. Also supports resolving on-hold projects. Performs additional tasks and/or special project work as required. Gathers competitive information on clients & prospects including tradeshow participation to make recommendations on where CSA Group should be to strategically position ourselves in the marketplace.

Education and Experience:

Post-secondary education (two- or three-year diploma) required. Four-year degree technical/scientific degree preferred 2-4 years of Sales, Marketing, or customer service experience Computer proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and database applications. (SAP and/or Salesforce a plus) Excellent verbal & written communication skills (English & French as required) Excellent phone and customer service skills Detail oriented and able to handle multiple tasks. Able to maintain positive contacts within all levels of the organization to exchange and interpret information or ideas and follow-up on client requests. Customer service focused

Skills:

Computer proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and database applications; Sales Force experience a plus.

Excellent English verbal & written communication skills.

Excellent phone and customer service skills.

Detail oriented and able to handle multiple tasks.

Able to maintain positive contacts within all levels of the organization to exchange explain and interpret information or ideas and follow-up on client requests.
