Sr. Application Engineer for discrete power semiconductors

Application Engineer for discrete power semiconductors of SiC MOSFET, IGBT and diode. Green Power Solution Team.
-Work with a team of industrial products applications engineers supporting BU objectives.
-Define product (SiC MOSFET, IGBT and diode) specification and requirements for new products into communication with technical development engineering.
-Validate electrical performance evaluation through simulation and experiment as part of the product verification for system application.
-Will be responsible for comprehensive application verification and validation of newly designed silicon and SiC taking a system-based approach.
-In-depth knowledge related industrial application and problem solving skills.
-Provide collateral and IP material: datasheets, applications notes, user guides, white papers and patents.
-Conduct technical presentations and product training to internal Sales and FAEs as well as external partners and customers.
[자격요건]
-Deep knowledge in power semiconductors for power electronics related systems (Fly back, CCM, DCM, PFC, LLC, DC/DC, DC/AC, Motor drives )
-Deep knowledge of power semiconductor devices, especially Si & SiC MOSFET, IGBT, Gate Driver (HVIC and Galvanic) combine with power electronics.
-Team player and good communication skills
-Technical diagnostic, Problem solving skills
-English communication skills, including the ability to present and report
- +15 yrs engineering experience with Power Electronics/Power Semiconductor
-Customer support experience
-Self-motivated team player with strong desire to achieve BU goals
-Good to have Simulation skill such as P-spice, Matlab, Simetrix, MathCAD, PCB artwork, loss simulation.
