Requirements

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

The Strategy Senior Manager at Assembly (Forward 3D Korea) will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the media strategies for our agency's clients. You'll be responsible for overseeing a team of strategists, ensuring the development and implementation of effective media strategies into plans and campaigns. Your strategic insights, leadership, and ability to navigate the ever-evolving media landscape will be instrumental in delivering outstanding results for our clients.


WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING ON ANY GIVEN DAY

Strategic Leadership: Provide strategic direction and thought leadership to the team, ensuring that media strategies align with client objectives and industry trends. Team Management: Oversee a small team of media strategists, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a collaborative work environment. Client Engagement: Collaborate with clients to understand their goals and develop media strategies that drive business growth. Media Strategic Conception: Lead the development of comprehensive media strategies, including but not limited to audience segmentation, channel selection, budget allocation, and messaging strategies, etc. Campaign Execution: Ensure the effective execution of media strategies, monitoring their performance and assisting planning teams in optimization recommendations. Data Analysis: Utilize 3rd party and campaign performance data and analytics to derive insights and make data-driven recommendations for campaign strategic improvements in the future. Market Research: Stay updated on industry and market trends, consumer behavior, and emerging technologies to inform strategic decisions. Budget Management: Oversee the allocation of budgets, ensuring campaigns are cost-effective and deliver a strong ROI with sufficiency. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with planning teams, client servicing managers, and other stakeholders to ensure a holistic approach to campaigns.


DOES THIS SOUND LIKE YOU?

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus. 7+ years of experience in media planning and strategy, with a proven track record of successful campaigns. Strong team management skills. Exceptional analytical and data interpretation abilities. Working knowledge in insights, media planning and analytics tools (e.g., GWI, Statista, Similar Web, Google Analytics, etc.). Excellent communication and presentation skills in both English and Korean. Strong understanding of various media channels, both traditional and digital. Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing media landscape and a proactive approach to staying updated on industry trends.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Lead campaign strategy development and implementation for client campaigns. Assist in pitches and annual client strategy development Oversee team members, providing guidance and ensuring deliverables are met. Collaborate with clients to understand their objectives and provide strategic recommendations. Analyze campaign data, make data-driven decisions, and provide performance reports to clients to highlight the strategic performance of the campaign. Monitor the competitive landscape and industry trends, keeping campaigns up-to-date. Manage budget allocation and resource planning for client campaigns. Foster a culture of innovation and strategic thinking within the team. Continuously evaluate and optimize campaign strategies for maximum effectiveness within the strategic recommendations provided. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure campaign alignment and success.
