Team Description

‘Global Merchandising & New Initiatives’ team at Coupang’s Global eCom organization focuses on driving new initiatives, biz/operation optimization, marketing and selection for Coupang’s our customers’ strong shopping experience around global selection. We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Global Catalog Operation Specialist. This person must be entrepreneurial by nature with responsibility for contributing to a positive customer experience on Coupang’s global marketing as a part of a fun, diverse, and global-experienced team. The individual will also work across a matrix organization internally with cross-functional teams and external network. The primary goal of this role is to help Coupang’s global team improve its global service that our customers want and drive increased loyalty.

Job Description

Begins everyday obsessed over Customer Experience. Starts with customer focused objectives and works backwards. Solution-building mindset to address and WOW our customers utilizing customer/market data.

Communicates with internal/external teams to develop marketing ideas, plan and execute seasonal promotions and campaigns based on the ‘Merchandising Calendar’.

Operates the promotion and optimizes the Customer Experience (CX) through regular monitoring of its layout & performance.

Operates the merchandising in the Global eCom-owned channels (App/Web) and runs on/offsite marketing to engage traffic.

Conducts marketing research to analyze user/market trend for global eCom business teams

Develops and manages SOPs – build and streamline internal processes for smooth collaboration between internal stakeholders, and function teams. Ensure every process is documented and up-to-dated with the latest best practices.

Essential Qualifications

Fluent in English & Korean, both written and verbal.

Proficient in Microsoft (esp. Excel)

Familiarity to eCom platforms and social media, strong interest in digital marketing

Decisive and able to move with speed to implement ideas

A passionate self-starter, ready to take Coupang’s customer experience to the next level

Ability to prioritize work and to find a way in a complex, fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

1~3yrs of relevant work experience in marketing or business operation eCommerce or retail business

Bachelor's degree majored in business, finance, analytical or related majors. (mathematics, engineering, statistics, economics, marketing, etc.)

Experience with SQL or Tableau is a plus

Chinese language capacity is a plus

Document Return Policy

This notification is given pursuant to Article 11 (6) of the Fair Hiring Procedure Act.
