In this role you will lead a team and be responsible for
- Developing an industry leading Yield Management solution at Siemens EDA by exploiting our strengths in the areas of automatic digital test and diagnosis, simulation, verification, layout analysis and others.
- Closely collaborating with semiconductor foundries and fabless design houses to develop requirements, usage scenarios as well as challenges these customers face with their current solutions.
- Developing a winning strategy to create a differentiated solution as part of the Silicon Lifecycle Management data strategy and gain market share in this space.
- Execute on the strategy in partnership with internal and external teams by developing and communicating requirements, project planning, and management.
- For this role it will be very beneficial to have had some exposure to one or more adjacent IC disciplines such as:
- Yield management systems (commercial or otherwise)
- NPI (New Product Introduction) for complex SoC's
- Fabless / foundry / OSAT business models
The primary and majority function of this job is to manage a team. Provides direction to senior managers in various areas, groups, and/or operations. Manages personnel activities of staff (i.e. hires, trains, appraises, pay, rewards, motivates, disciplines, recommends termination as necessary, etc.). Responsible for resource allocation, including budget and personnel. Responsible for the management and delivery of the highest level of business or technical projects, and the planning and coordinating of high level programs or releases within the established timeframe from initiation through delivery on schedule and within budget. Serves as liaisons between technical and non technical departments in order to ensure that all targets and requirements are met. Has comprehensive and diversified knowledge of methods and practices in broad areas of the customer's industry. Acts as lead on projects that span multiple products. Recognized by internal and external customers as a leader in a variety of areas. Sought out by others to solve their most complex of problems. Technical Lead in guiding junior engineers. Ability to understand complex products, solutions, and problems. Responsible to lead project teams to deliver projects on time and within budget through effective management of the project scope, budget, plan, resource, issues, and deliverables. Works without supervision on the most complex projects with complete latitude for independent judgment. Expert knowledge of the field. Assist with less experienced peers.
