Position
This role is responsible for managing Dior Men's merchandise assortment to enhance brand desirability, achieve business goals, ensure profitability, and uphold retail excellence.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead seasonal buying process and merchandising initiatives to optimize sales opportunities with cross-functional teams
- Provide quality feedback to regional merchandising team on seasonal collection buying to enhance Korea business and execute product launches based on plan and shipment status
- Execute internal stock transfers, regular internal merchandising rebalancing, and oversee stock requests along with relevant communications across boutiques and other functional teams including warehouse and logistics team to boost sales
- Conduct seasonal OTO sales tracking and stock arrangement, as well as seasonal collection trainings to align with the business plan
- Prepare and update merchandising map book for every season and category to provide up-to-date product information to essential groups like boutique employees and cross-functional teams
- Manage trunk show samples and ensure products are arranged according to OTO schedule promptly
- Accountability for sales/stock reports for responsible categories and provide data analysis
- Ensure the brand remains competitive in the market and stays trendy through competitor market research in all merchandising aspects
- Assist and support overall operational and administrative work to facilitate special events and improve processes based on boutique feedback
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in related disciplines
- Minimum 10 years' work experience in merchandising
- Experience in men's category (preferred) or in leather goods and ready-to-wear category
- Strong analytical skills and understanding of retail KPIs
- In-depth knowledge of the local fashion market and commercial acumen
- Willingness to work in a dynamic environment
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders
- Team player with the ability to multitask
- Proficiency in Microsoft tools
- Proficiency in both verbal and written English
