Job Title: Adolescent Support Counselor

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Adolescent Support Counselor to join our team. As a key member of our PACAF Adolescent Support and Counseling Services (ASACS) program, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a community-based adolescent support and counseling program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing a community-based adolescent substance abuse prevention and treatment program
  • Networking with military branches and the community to identify adolescents in need of services
  • Providing individual, group, and family counseling to support family quality of life
  • Managing case loads and providing treatment planning, discharge, and continuing care planning
  • Developing and implementing AOD training and specialized education programs
  • Collaborating with community agencies and providing briefings on the ASACS program
  • Participating in quality assurance and case record management

Requirements:

  • Master's degree from an accredited university (CACREP accredited)
  • Valid State Clinical License – LCSW at the independent level OR Ph.D/Psy.D. Clinical Psychologist
  • Two (2+) years of supervised post graduate counseling experience working with adolescents
  • Eligibility for state or national AOD certification
  • Intermediate competency in word processing and database management
  • Current US driver's license and eligibility to obtain a US military ID card
  • Favorable results on Federal Background Investigation
