Cloud Transformation Strategist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Transformation Strategist to join our team at the Green Climate Fund. As a key member of our Department of IT, you will play a critical role in supporting our organization's cloud transformation initiative and providing enterprise-wide architectural direction and technology leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Formulate an Enterprise Cloud Strategy that aligns with the organization's strategic framework and contributes to the definition of the architectural vision, technology roadmap, and transition framework for our cloud adoption journey.
• Establish Governance Frameworks that develop and execute enterprise cloud, security, and infrastructure governance policies, ensuring compliance requirements and risk management principles are balanced with innovation.
• Support Zero-Trust Security Architecture by organizing and planning the organization's zero-trust security vision, contributing to the development of integrated security frameworks across Azure Cloud, Microsoft 365 ecosystem, and other SaaS applications.
• Direct Microsoft 365 Platform Strategy by acting as the Solutions Architect for the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, making informed decisions on Intune mobility frameworks, SharePoint governance, Microsoft Entra ID identity architecture, hybrid Exchange topology, and all productivity and collaboration infrastructure.

Requirements

• A Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study with an additional 2 years of relevant work experience may be accepted in lieu of the Master's Degree requirement.
• At least seven (7) years of experience preferably in cloud architecture or DevOps or System Engineering, or security with a focus on Azure/Microsoft services.
• Demonstrated experience leading enterprise-wide cloud transformation initiatives, including strategy development and complex migration projects.
• Expertise in infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform and automation tools.
• Strong background in CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and automation with Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
• Expert-level experience in Identity and Access Management solutions, specifically Microsoft Entra ID, including the design and implementation of complex identity lifecycle and governance solutions.
