">We are seeking an experienced Artificial Intelligence Software Development Strategist to join our team. As a key member of our technology department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying AI-based solutions that drive operational efficiencies and support our mission-driven goals.
">Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement knowledge products focused on effective AI project management, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and industry best practices.
">">Create GenAI-powered solutions and user-facing interfaces that automate processes and create efficiencies.
">">Stay ahead of technological trends, researching new software libraries, frameworks, and solutions to support ongoing projects.
">">Leverage machine learning Large Language Models (LLMs) for predictive data analysis, supporting programmatic and institutional objectives.
">">Analyze operational needs and identify opportunities for AI-enhanced delivery, driving continuous performance improvement.
">">Lead the development of an AI-focused team, providing expert guidance and mentorship to ensure technical excellence.
">">Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define business requirements, drive stakeholder engagement, and develop mutually beneficial AI solutions.
">">Represent the Green Climate Fund in external engagements, promoting AI expertise and driving strategic partnerships.
">">Advise on AI-related policies, strategies, and programs, ensuring maximum impact and relevance to evolving business needs.
">">Provide technical guidance and training to staff and consultants, leveraging deep AI expertise to drive complex projects forward.
">">Maintain a knowledge-sharing environment, facilitating structured training sessions and on-the-job learning opportunities.
">">Serve as a key contributor to the Development Team, providing administrative support as needed.

Requirements

Master's degree in computer science, artificial intelligence, or related field; or Bachelor's degree with 2 years of relevant experience in lieu of Master's degree requirement.
">">9 years of software development experience, including frontend and backend development, with demonstrated leadership in AI projects or initiatives.
">">3 years minimum experience developing AI-based solutions.
">">Proven ability to lead and mentor AI Development teams, with a track record of building high-performing technical teams.
">">Experience shaping and influencing AI initiative strategy, aligning technical solutions with broader organizational goals.
">">Familiarity with modern software development tools, Cloud platform environments, and CI/CD Deployment pipelines.
">">Proficiency in Python programming language and AI-related libraries.
">">Knowledge of formal project management methodologies, such as PMBOK or PRINCE2, and related certification desirable.
">">Excellent writing and presentation skills.
">">Ability to collaborate with Business Process Owners, translating operational needs into actionable technical requirements.
">">Work experience in international organizations is highly advantageous.
">">Fluency in English is essential; knowledge of other United Nations languages is an advantage.
