Finance Expert

As a key player in the medical technology industry, Medtronic is looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented professional to join their finance team. This 12-month fixed term position is based in the Seoul office and offers a unique opportunity to gain commercial experience and sharpen your financial skills with a global leader.

You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth implementation of agreed finance plans and objectives across the business. In this role, you will gain exposure dealing with various commercial and functional teams across the business.

Your Responsibilities may include:

• Supporting monthly, quarterly, and yearly actual data analysis to aid budgeting and forecasting processes

• Analyzing financial metrics, including rates of return, depreciation, investments, costs versus budget, variance analysis, forecasting, financial planning, and expense comparisons

• Preparing management reports focusing on revenue, margin, and expense performance

• Developing expertise in navigating and analyzing financial data through finance systems and web-based dashboards.

• Collaborating as a financial business partner to support overall P&L management and facilitate informed decision-making

• Handling various ad hoc reporting tasks as needed

Required Knowledge and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting from any industry

• Advanced level in MS Excel

• Strong team collaboration skills and flexible mindset in organizational changes

• Effective written and verbal communication skills in English and Korean languages
