Key Responsibilities
- This role is responsible for overseeing daily financial transactions, primarily focusing on accounts payable. The position ensures accuracy, compliance, and timely processing in accordance with internal and external reporting standards.
- The ideal candidate will have experience in A/P & GL management, ensuring timely and accurate processing of accounts payable vouchers, conducting expense audits to ensure compliance with company policies, and ensuring proper cost center and G/L account mapping to control OPEX.
- The successful applicant will also be responsible for treasury functions, including ensuring timely payment to employees and vendors, verifying cash transactions accurately, and settling intercompany transactions and checking the IC match report.
- In addition, the incumbent will prepare all required documentation and schedules for internal and external audits, ensuring timely and accurate submission, and support VAT and corporate income tax filing in coordination with external tax advisors and ensure compliance with local tax regulations.
- Other key responsibilities include creating and managing asset numbers, ensuring accurate cost center allocation, supporting asset transfer and retirement treatments, and managing lease contracts and related system entries in accordance with lease accounting standards (IFRS 16).
- Furthermore, the ideal candidate will be proactive in identifying opportunities for process improvement, supporting company procedures and compliance initiatives for efficiency improvements, and communicating proactively with employees from a finance compliance perspective.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 7-12 years' experience in accounting or financial operations, preferably in a multinational company.
- Experience with SAP FI/CO modules is preferred, and proficiency in Excel is essential.
- Good command of written and spoken English is required.
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy, proactive mindset, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment are essential.
