Legally Oriented Business Partner

We are seeking an experienced Legal Advisor to provide expert legal support for our business operations in Korea. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations while providing strategic advice on business matters.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in law, with experience working in a fast-paced environment and ability to communicate complex legal concepts effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and negotiate lease agreements for our stores in Korea, ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations.
- Provide expert advice on legal issues related to business expansion and consolidation, including dispute resolution.
- Support the development of marketplaces and partnerships for online projects.
- Liaise with external counsel to resolve disputes and provide overall legal support for business initiatives.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in an in-house legal function, preferably in a consumer business with digital and/or leasing experience.
- Strong knowledge of Korean law and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to communicate fluently in Korean and English.
- Admitted to the Korean Bar Association or possess equivalent legal qualifications and relevant experience.
