The Green Climate Fund is a dedicated multilateral climate fund investing in impactful programs and projects across developing countries.
Position OverviewThe Evaluation and Capacity Development Manager will lead the workstream of Evaluation and Capacity Development within the GCF Secretariat's Department of Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (DMEL).
Key Responsibilities- Lead the revision of the Monitoring and Accountability Framework (MAF) for Accredited Entities (AEs)
- Develop programs for monitoring, evaluation and learning capacity development for internal and external audiences
- Provide methodological guidance on assessments of climate rationale, Theories of Change, indicators, measurement, reporting and verification systems
- Build internal and external partners' competencies with respect to best practices in Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning methodologies
- Masters level in economics, finance, business administration, sustainable development, climate policy, environmental sciences or related fields
- A minimum of eleven years of relevant work experience in evaluation, monitoring and learning of development or climate related programs
- Strong M&E design skills
- Proficiency in applying evaluation mix-methods, econometric models in complex climate change projects
