As a Department Manager, you will step into the second stage of your retail career at Decathlon Korea. Moving beyond individual contribution, you will act as a dynamic leader and strategist driving the commercial success of your sports department while inspiring and coaching your team. You will be responsible for creating an exceptional customer journey, maximizing business performance, and ensuring operational excellence and safety across your section.

Key Responsibilities
• Team Leadership & Development: Lead, empower, and coach your team of Sport Leaders. Build a high-performing, collaborative team culture and foster individual career growth.
• Commercial Strategy & Sales: Develop and execute strategic commercial plans for your sports department. Analyze sales performance and market trends to drive business growth.

Experience:
Set the standard for customer excellence, ensuring every sports enthusiast receives personalized product expertise and memorable service.
• Merchandising & Inventory Control: Oversee section layout, visual merchandising, stock levels, and warehouse management to guarantee product availability and seamless store operations.
• Safety & Operational Management: Take full ownership of store safety compliance, risk management, and overall operational standards for your section. Who We Are Looking

Experience:
Minimum 2+ years of experience in the retail or sports industry.
• Preferred

Qualifications:
• Prior experience in retail store management, team leadership, or sports industry operations.
• Proficiency in English (Good communication skills).
• Living near the preferred store location. Work Conditions
• Contract Type: Full-time / Contract (New hires start on a 3-month fixed-term contract. Upon successful performance review and project evaluation, transition to a permanent position is finalized).
• Work Schedule: Shift-based roster (including weekends and public holidays), 8 hours/day, 40 hours/week (5 days a week).
