About Romantic RebelsROMANTIC REBELS is an independent womenswear label founded by two European women and established in Seoul, South Korea.
Our brand focuses on strong silhouettes, considered tailoring, and distinctive details. We combine European creative perspectives with Korea's fashion industry, craftsmanship, and production expertise.
We are looking for a creative, curious, and motivated individual interested in fashion, jewelry, and entrepreneurship to join us for a hands-on educational internship.
This opportunity offers direct mentorship from our founders and firsthand exposure to the creative and business processes behind building an independent fashion label, including the development of our upcoming jewelry collection.
What You'll Explore
Fashion & Brand Development
• Learn about brand positioning, marketing, creative direction, and business development.
• Research fashion trends, competitors, and opportunities for brand growth.
• Explore how independent fashion labels develop their identity and market presence. Fashion Industry & Networking
• Research fashion events, exhibitions, pop-ups, and networking opportunities in Korea.
• Explore potential brand collaborations and creative partnerships.
• Gain insight into fashion industry relationships and networking. Fabric Sourcing & Production
• Visit local fabric markets and discover materials and textiles.
• Learn about Korean suppliers, manufacturing, and production processes.
• Explore garment development from concept to finished product. Jewelry Development & Launch
• Gain firsthand exposure to developing and launching a new jewelry collection.
• Research jewelry trends, materials, suppliers, and production methods.
• Learn about product presentation, e-commerce listings, and launch strategy through supervised educational projects. Creative Projects
• Gain behind-the-scenes exposure to photoshoots, styling, and creative campaigns.
• Explore visual storytelling, content creation, and brand communication.
What We Offer
International Working Environment Experience a European-founded fashion label established and operating in South Korea, combining international creative perspectives with the Korean fashion industry. Direct Mentorship from the Founders Learn directly from our Creative Director and Co-Founder, gaining insight into fashion design, brand strategy, entrepreneurship, and business development. Real-World Fashion Industry Exposure Discover Seoul's fashion ecosystem through educational visits, industry research, sourcing experiences, and creative networking opportunities. Jewelry Launch Experience Gain exposure to the early stages of launching a jewelry line and learn how a new product category is developed within an existing fashion brand. Creative Learning & Portfolio Development Develop practical knowledge through supervised learning projects, constructive feedback, and opportunities to create relevant portfolio work. Entrepreneurial Insight Gain firsthand knowledge of the opportunities and challenges involved in establishing and growing an independent fashion business in an international market. Who We're Looking For
• Students or aspiring professionals interested in fashion, jewelry, design, marketing, business, or entrepreneurship.
• Creative, proactive, curious, and motivated to learn.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and resourceful.
• Interested in both the creative and business sides of fashion.
• Comfortable communicating in English.
• Korean proficiency is highly preferred.
• Based in Seoul and available for regular on-site participation. Previous fashion industry experience is not required. We value curiosity, initiative, and a genuine willingness to learn. Internship Details
Location:
Seoul, South Korea Workplace: On-site Schedule: Initially part-time, with the possibility of increasing hours based on mutual agreement and applicable placement requirements. Duration: Approximately 3 months, with the possibility of extending to a total of 6 months based on mutual fit and progress. Compensation: Unpaid educational placement, subject to applicable Korean requirements. Learning Structure: Supervised educational activities, direct mentorship, and practical industry exposure.
