Job Description
MedChemExpress has an immediate opening for a Field Sales Representative/Manager(Bio/chemical & Life science) based in Korea . This is a full-time position with careeradvancement opportunities within the company. You must be available to work from Monday toFriday and willing to travel.
You must be legally working in Korea . MedChemExpress is a renowned global company in the life science research market, specializingin life-science reagents, reference compounds, APIs, natural compounds and biological products such as recombinant proteins and antibodies . MCE is rapidly expanding its commercial team inKorea to further develop academic, research institute, CRO, biotech and pharmaceutical customersacross the country. Your role 1. Responsible for the sales growth and target achievement of the MCE life science product line inKorea, through territory and account planning and full-cycle customer development . 2. Promote the MCE brand and product portfolio in Korea, including bioactive small molecules,compound libraries, recombinant proteins, antibodies, peptides, kits and assay reagents . 3. Develop and maintain relationships with customers in academia, research institutes, CRO,biotech and pharmaceutical companies, and build networks with KOLs . 4. Provide technical support and product training to customers and distributors, and handlecustomer inquiries on orders, products, prices and availability. 5. Collect local market and industry information, cooperate with the global marketing and BDteams, and support exhibitions, scientific conferences and customer trainings . 6. This position is expected at least 80% of field work (customer visit, attending exhibitions,seminars, etc.). Required Skills 1. Bachelor's degree or above in Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Biomedical science,Pharmacy, Microbiology, Immunology, Molecular biology, or other life science related disciplines .(Must) 2. At least 3 years of sales & marketing experience in the drug discovery & life science market;small molecule products experience and distributor channel management is necessary; experiencewith biological products (recombinant proteins, antibodies, kits, assay reagents) is preferred . 3. Experience of selling research reagents, research equipment/consumables or rawpharmaceuticals to pharmaceutical companies, bio ventures or research institutes will be preferred . 4. Native or near-native Korean; proficient in both spoken and written English . (Must) 5. Strong customer service awareness and business communication skills (verbal, written,presentation);willing to engage in sales work and withstand certain work pressure . 6. Self-motivated, well organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multipleprojects simultaneously and meeting deadlines . What you will get in return 1.
