- Operate the instruments in a safe and timely manner
- The Analytical Technician is responsible for the day to day running of the analytical laboratory and for providing a comprehensive service to the management within quality system.
- Handle raw materials and finished products, most of which are either flammable, air sensitive or pyrophoric.
- To carry out pre-treatment and analysis work of samples in specialized area of assignment related to analysis of chemical properties under the standard of procedure.
- To record results, to analyze it and to issue a report after completion of the work.
- To demonstrate sound problem solving skills and ability while carrying out experimental work under the supervision / direction of a QC Manager.
- Continuous improvement of procedures, experimental design and safety.
- Maintain the proper working condition of analytical instruments in the lab.
- To carry out gage RR for key analytical instruments ( ICP, NMR, Titrator).
- Support for ISO system maintenance.
- Stocktaking for laboratory and purchase the supplies.
- Dispose of waste produced in the lab according to GRACE policy and procedure and legal regulations
- B.S. (or equivalent) in Chemistry or closely related field
- Work experience is not a required condition.
- Working knowledge of basic analytical principals, calculations, and statistics
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellence using Microsoft Office ( Excel )
- Time management
