About this opportunity
The role requires a highly organized individual to lead Align Technology’s Korea Clinical team to oversee clinical activities within the region and for providing in-house clinical guidance and support, as well as clinical customer support. The individual will be responsible for developing and implementing the Korea Clinical strategy. He/She will display strong leadership qualities and has the ability to engage and influence cross-functional teams to deliver an excellent clinical customer experience for all Invisalign providers In this role, you will… Report to Senior Director of Clinical, APAC Establish and implement the Clinical strategy including (but not limited to): customer education, speaker development and management, clinical support, Align staff training and development Deliver operational objectives and work plans Establish and adhere to budgets, schedules, work plans, and performance requirements Oversee all aspects of clinical support of the team to provide quality service to the customers Guide the development of Clinical Education strategy and implementation plan in Korea based on different customer segments and needs to meet the business goals Develop KOL and speaker engagement strategy and to actively engage with the KOLs and speakers Oversee partnership of Clinical team with other functions to deliver on KPIs across Korea Implement training programs which are designed to improve Clinical knowledge of the internal stakeholders, such as Sales and Customer Support teams Lead and develop Korea clinical team Drive efficiency and effectiveness through all Clinical processes Ensure that all company and departmental procedures (clinical and general) are followed throughout the region Provide support to audit processes and quality management system as required Perform other duties as assigned. In this role, you’ll need … To have Master’s degree preferred, with the degree(s) in dentistry or business will be an advantage To have the experience working in dental companies / medical devices companies will be an advantage To be a seasoned leader with a successful track record of at least 10 years commercial management experience To be experienced working in a global matrix organization and successful partnership in collaborating with cross functional teams To be experienced in providing thought taking business / customer insights and using them to drive thinking and decisions To be strategic and critical thinking to have the ability to challenge status quo and drive business impact To have strong implementation skills with excellent execution To have effective communication to be with counterparts including local and regional teams, and external agencies This role requires 50% regional travel and hybrid working model-
