Serves as work order clerk in the Work Reception Section to accomplish assigned responsibility for providing efficient processing DPW(Directorate of Public Works) work requests and work orders by IFS (Integrated Facilities System) procedures, and coordinates with customers and the using agency for DPW work request preparation and distribution for the modification, alteration, minor construction, repair and maintenance of real properties (including buildings, structures, utilities systems, roads and grounds etc.), within the 1,693 acres under the jurisdiction of the Directorate of Public Works, U.S. Army Garrison, Humphreys, U.S. Army Installation Management Command. Reviews DPW work requests to insure nature and location of the work and to assure document number, building/facility number, suffix code, brief job description and other discrepancies or lack of justification, and checks out duplication with other DPW work requests and painting cycle. Returns DPW work orders without action in case of missing signature of an authorized personnel, sketch or plot needed, additional specific justification and etc. Receives letters or telephonic and personal inquiries regarding the status of DPW work requests and work orders, and prepares response or answers verbally. Takes appropriate action for the emergency or the command interest for accomplishment of work. Makes frequent checks on current status of work orders, and provides reports to scheduler and production controller for work planning and scheduling. Prepares sufficient copies of DPW work orders, bill of materials and sketches based on the drafts provided by estimator and/or EP&S, and distributes them to supply coordinator or scheduler. Keys-in input transaction codes of XFA, XFB, XFC, XFD and XFE which is required to store data into IFS computer. Reviews IFS error list report (EFO), JOR/IJO status report (FAO), space utilization report (ASO) and provides necessary correction and information. Distributes completed work orders to Budget and Accounting Branch for taking action necessary for succeeding step and files record copies, and insures that Real Estate Branch receives documents necessary to adjust records for real property accountability in case of completion of job order. Maintains project folder files of DPW work request, troop project, KSC project, unfinanced project and in-house individual job order. Maintains current signature card of authorized requester in each unit. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifikationsanforderungen
