Account Manager, DCC, Korea

The holder of this position is responsible for achieving the assigned sales & operational targets, managing and developing relationships with merchants in assigned portfolio in DCC sector.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and drive SELL OUT activities for own portfolio (both direct and agent-led business)

Work with different parties on the deployment of new merchants (ensure compliance to receipt layout, processes and terminal UI for DCC)

Regular merchant trainings (ensure compliance to process of offering DCC to travelers)

Perform regular local audits to ensure merchants are in compliance

Work with VAN, POS Vendors and Sales agents on regular basis to ensure all technical stakeholders are in compliance

Accurate use of CRM to plan, record and report account specific activity

Follow GB guidelines and excellent usage of GB sales tools

Ensure that all relevant market and business information is transmitted to the organization in an updated, qualified, and transparent way

Strengthen relationship with merchants at store-level (store manager, retail staff, Hotel Front. Etc.)

Perform, manage and coordinate SELL OUT, and business support activities for assigned portfolio of merchants(DCC)

Deliver sales targets for assigned merchant portfolio

Sales targets for DCC: Hit-rate improvement, Card Scheme Audit Findings

Qualifications and education requirements

University degree or similar relevant experience

2~4 years of experience in supporting strategic business relationships with external stakeholders (retail merchants, hospitality merchants, Acquirer, VAN, PG, POS venders and other payment solutions, schemes, etc.)

Understanding of the Korea retail shopping, hospitality & payment process /consumer business is an advantage

Proficient in Korean and English (spoken and written)

Specific skills and knowledge

Self-motivated, customer focused and performance driven

Good interpersonal skills

Good communication skills to Clients

Ability to use creative solutions to solve problems

Knowledge of MS Office products
