We are looking for a Underwriting Consultant at Munich Re Korea Branch. Reporting to the Head of Underwriting Services, you will be responsible for high-quality underwriting efficiency, services to clients in all questions of underwriting, leading/assisting projects and research related to risk assessments and underwriting seminars / workshops. You will also undertake reviews of client companies’ underwriting operations.
Your Role
Your Profile
Minimum 7 years of underwriting experience at a direct life insurance company or related institution; Medical underwriting experience in life underwriting including substandard risks; Medical knowledge and non-medical risk knowledge (essential); Financial underwriting experience within the reinsurance sector Experience in underwriting guideline or rules development (preferred); Experience in product development / risk assessment; Experience in risk scoring system or similar projects (preferred); Strong analytical, problem solving, research and project management skills; Good communication and presentation skills; Fluent spoken and written in Korean and English; Advanced MS Office skills - Excel, (can perform complex functions), Word, PowerPoint, AccessBenefits
