About the location: Four Seasons Hotel Seoul is located in the heart of Seoul, offering world-class customized services and sophisticated features based on its craft and expertise. The Hotel, standing tall with 29 glittering stories, is meant to look like an ancient Korean palace of old, but stylized and brought into the 21st century. Classic Korean nature motifs and modern aesthetics adorn the décor, reflecting the surrounding mountain backdrop and views of Gyeongbokgung and Changdeokgung Palaces. The Hotel features 8 distinct restaurants and bars, including award-winning Yu Yuan and the secret speakeasy Charles H., ranked as the Best Bar in Korea and one of the Asia's 50 Best Bars. The rest of the hotel is equally stunning with the works of over 130 Korean artists featured throughout the establishment. The Four Seasons Hotel Seoul is looking for Executive Club Assistant Manager, who shares a passion for excellence and who infuse enthusiasm into everything they do. We are looking for a candidate that is dedicated to creating personalized experiences and lasting memories for our guests. This position reports to the Assistant Director of Rooms.
Education
A university degree or equivalent experience required
Experience
Minimum of 2 years prior experience in a department head role required in hospitality, service or luxury industry
Desired Skills
Hospitality management degree or similar preferred. Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills and problem-solving skills required. Must have solid knowledge of hotel operations, including proficiency in hotel property management systems. Knowledge of Opera preferred. Strong supervisory and leadership skills are essential, with an outstanding record of coaching and developing teams. Must be able to work with flexible hours of schedule. F&B knowledge (Fine Dining) preferred. Above average communication skills - verbal and written- required. Knowledge of other language(s) preferred.Eligibility
Demonstrated ability to successfully develop someone without direct reporting line Previously demonstrated success and credibility in providing support on corporate projects, or at another Four Seasons propertyKey Functions
Manages the Executive Club team, trains and schedules the staff (Roster). Conducts Performance Evaluations and disciplines staff when required Coordinates and liaises with various departments to ensure the hotel provides highest level guest experiences Coordinates and manages the day-to-day operations; ensure the, VIP / applicable guest recognition programs are fully adhered to and running smoothly within the Hotel Coordinates with Kitchen team to provide Food Presentation at the highest level of quality (Breakfast, Afternoon Tea, and Evening Cocktail). Resolves customer complaints from all areas of the hotel, handling all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible; assists customers in all inquiries in connection with hotel services, hours of operations, key hotel personnel, in-house events, directions, etc. Responds to all guest requests in an accurate and timely manner. Interaction with guest will be in person and by phone. Accepts reservations, changes and cancellations in the absence of Reservations Department Staff. Can answer guest calls and direct them appropriately in the absence of a Core Agent. Utilizes a variety of computer systems to check guests in and out, run daily reports and select and block rooms for arriving guests. Works harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.Key Expectations
Regularly communicates with Director of Rooms on promotions and changes of operation. Maintains confidentiality about the development and progress of Housekeeping Management Team. Assures all financial aspects (F&B, Labor cost) are met while maintaining the best quality. Conducts orientation for new managers and supervisors.Visa Requirements
