Position Overview

The Associate Market Access Director will be responsible for establishing patient access strategies for new product and pipeline. Experience in new product reimbursement and a strong understanding of the business are essential skills for this role. This position also includes people management, requiring the ability to coach and develop junior team members. The Associate Market Access Director will be part of the Market Access Leadership team, participating in comprehensive decision-making processes related to products and vaccines' access strategies

Main Roles & Responsibilities

Responsible for proactively establishing a holistic patient access strategy for new products and pipeline. This includes strategically shaping the environment to ensure that the new products are recognized for their value.

People managing and development based on Enterprise Leadership skills. It requires creating development plans based on team members' career objectives and providing coaching and practical support to foster their growth.

Lead communication with external stakeholders such as government and medical societies to ensure successful patient access for M products.

Strong understanding of the business and pharmaceutical industry is essential as frequent collaboration with internal customers is required (e.g. Marketing, Medical, Finance, Policy, Communications and Regulatory Affairs). Additionally, effective communication skills and people leadership are necessary to engage internal stakeholders in the development and implementation of patient access strategies.

The role requires the ability to provide early input on clinical outcomes and market research to Headquarter by leveraging a deep understanding of HTA process. It also entails offering early planning and input aligned with market dynamics and pharmaceutical policy trends in Korea.

Proactively conduct Pharmaco-Economic evaluations with external agencies and lead the communication with regional/global outcome research team, as well as efcfectively write documents for submission to government authorities.

Qualifications / Required Competencies

Functional Knowledge: Medicine, Epidemiology, Pharmacoeconomics, Statistics, Public health policy

Skills: Strategic planning, Business Savviness, Decision making, Communication, Model adaptation, Negotiation skill

Leadership Behaviors: Execution Excellence, Coaching and Development

License / Certificate: Pharm D, PhD preferred

Level of Education

Master's

Major/Area of Study : Pharmacy, Nursing, Public health, Master for pharmaco-economic & health care policy Preferred

Level of Experience

11-15 years

Required English Proficiency
