Vacheron Constantin, a House of Connoisseurs in Fine Watchmaking, is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Director to join its team. With a 267-year history of innovation and excellence, the Maison is looking for a talented individual to drive its commercial strategy and lead its retail and wholesale operations.
The Commercial Director will be responsible for leading the sales, teams, performance, and operations of the retail network, including internal and external boutiques, as well as e-commerce. This role requires a strong commercial background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to drive results-oriented teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set commercial targets and strategies to achieve qualitative and quantitative goals
- Drive the achievement of annual sales targets by implementing action plans, motivating teams, managing stock proactively, and elevating client experience
- Lead boutique HR topics, including recruiting, performance management, and boutique organization
- Design optimal commission schemes for boutique teams to motivate and review their efficiency
- Manage retail performance analysis with boutique managers
- Lead stock management, including planning, scarcity allocation, and follow-up of special requests
- Analyze stock status in terms of productivity and efficiency, ensuring its condition and maintenance
- Ensure boutiques provide an exceptional client experience, meeting the Maison's guidelines and industry standards
- Work closely with the CRM team to acquire new clients and nurture existing ones, developing brand loyalty
- Ensure boutique staff uses customer databases effectively, recording client data and sales information to guarantee follow-up activities and maximize sales opportunities
- Ensure qualitative After Sales execution, guaranteeing excellent customer service standards
- Ensure Group and Maison guidelines are well understood and implemented across all team members
- Plan and control boutique S&D costs
- Maximize efficiency of boutique operational work processes and monitor the implementation of sales supporting tools
- Monitor department store transactions and monthly reconciliations
- Monitor and stay informed on actions and plans of the competition
- Lead SDP for opening or renovation, supervising general contractors, and managing CAPEX
- Coordinate with HQ or local legal divisions for contract or agreement reviews with partners
- Coordinate with Marketing to build brand equity through retail and drive sales opportunities
- Act as a facilitator between Korea Office, Boutiques, and HQ Retail Department
- Act as a brand ambassador during brand/Boutique events and meetings
Managing Wholesale:
- Drive the achievement of annual sales targets by delivering expected sell-in, sell-out, and stock management
- Support retailers to realize their full sell-out potential through annual action plans, merchandising, special allocations, training, and incentives
- Manage analysis of stock, sell-in, and sell-out to create proper sales forecasting and adequate action plans
- Organize and conduct regular training sessions for retailer staff
Developing Your Team:
- Build high-performing teams by attracting people with a winning attitude, developing, and driving individual and team performance through an open feedback culture
- Provide leadership and direction for teams, ensuring they have clarity and are enabled to successfully drive and support the overall company direction
- Set individual objectives and KPIs, provide guidance, and conduct regular appraisals of team members, ensuring proper development of personnel and supporting the growth of talents
About You:
- You hold a Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- You have 15 years of relevant experience in Marketing or Sales with international exposure
- You have experience or a strong interest in the Luxury market and the Digital ecosystem
- You demonstrate solid analytical and organizational skills, excellent project management, reporting skills, and problem-solving
- You demonstrate excellent interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills with a strong team spirit
- You are agile, flexible, and have a passion for new ideas

- You have the ability to be 'hands-on'
- You are client-oriented and eager to be on the field, interacting with clients and partners
- You speak English fluently
