AST Sales Engineer

AVL Korea Co. Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Engineer to join our team in Korea. As an AST Sales Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting the sales and pre-sales process, representing AVL's corporate identity in the market, and driving business growth.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Support the sales and pre-sales process, including account development and customer satisfaction
  • Maintain CRM System, data completeness and quality in SFDC and associated systems
  • Support generation of new Opportunities and develop identified Opportunities
  • Clarify real customer needs and feasibility, elaborate value for customer, and ensure lean project approach
  • Support project planning tasks, including quote preparation, cost calculation, and project management
  • Challenge cost calculation of operations, set price within given margin boundaries, and ensure appropriate invoicing plans
  • Support presentation of quotes, management of customer feedback, and offer revision
  • Support identification and resolution of potential concerns of Buying Center Members
  • Support negotiation of technical and commercial conditions
  • Support Project Execution, including professional handover to the project team, invoicing, and payment collection
  • Prepare customer communication, including meetings, customer contact reports, presentations, and proposals
  • Meet planned order intake with attractive margins

Your Profile:

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree or equivalent (preferably engineering background)
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in CAE/CFD/Testing/Engineering/Other Simulation Software Tools Sales
  • Self-responsible, systematic, and structured operation
  • Flexible business development attitude with strategic account management
  • System, product, and application basic knowledge concerning AVL portfolio
  • Market understanding (Automotive, Simulation, etc.)
  • Good understanding/experience of Demand Generation, Lead Management
  • Team Collaboration
  • Excellent Communication skills (interpersonal, negotiation) and fluent in English (written & spoken)
