As a Electrification Product Marketing Specialist for Electrification Business Area in Seoul, South Korea, you will be responsible for driving sales and market growth by defining, planning, and ensuring the implementation of product marketing strategies in line with global product strategy. Overseeing sales and marketing activities and supports Sales organizations in driving sales and services for their respective products.

Your responsibilities
  • Creating, planning and ensuring implementation of the local go-to-market product marketing strategy, including defining and communicating product value propositions and product positioning in accordance with the global product marketing strategy
  • Ensuring achievement of established targets by overseeing progress and defining improvement actions as needed
  • Focusing on achievement of the target set for metrics like total demand orders (by ABB and third-party), growth margin percentage, net price variance, Net Promoter Score (NPS), inventory turn on finished goods, and on-time delivery as requested
  • Developing and implementing annual marketing plan in collaboration with relevant business units and/or product groups
  • Developing business plans focused on driving business development for a defined market, ensuring profitable business growth
  • Evaluating market opportunities, determines appropriate activities aligned with the overall strategy, and coordinating opportunities across local divisions and local business units, as appropriate
  • Ensuring balanced growth for all product lines, product groups, and business units
  • Creating product demand by promoting technical aspects, providing solutions, and utilizing value-based selling approach
  • Ensuring the execution of customer satisfaction surveys, analyzing results and assisting with corrective actions
Your background
  • A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or similar preferred
  • 8+ years of experience in electrical distribution industry, working as Sales or Marketing role with Digital Substation Products and Systems
  • Demonstrated experience in development and implementation of marketing and sales strategy
  • Knowledge of the protection relay and relevant systems
  • A collaborative, solution-focused approach, with strong written and spoken communication skills, as well as relationship-building skills
  • Intermediate English proficiency
