As a Senior Data Scientist on our team, you will play a pivotal role in driving performance improvement in our product through a deep understanding of the ads ecosystem and customer needs.
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Scientist to join our Product Analytics Data Science (PDS) team. This individual will work closely with our R&D team to drive performance improvement in our core Ads product.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data science, statistical analysis, and programming skills, particularly in Python or R. They will be responsible for conducting deep-dive analysis, building metrics to measure campaign health, and evaluating ads system health.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to articulate product questions, pull data from large datasets, and use statistics to arrive at recommendations
- Proven ability to own projects end-to-end, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and pay attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to present information and analysis results effectively
- Experience with experimental design, hypothesis testing, and various statistical analysis techniques such as regression or linear models
- Familiarity with database languages such as SQL and data manipulation libraries like Pandas or Dplyr
