CouMall is a key business unit at Coupang that helps tens of thousands of sellers and brand owners to grow their businesses and brands. We are looking for a Staff Backend Engineer to work on the Ads landing domain, connect Ads and their own shops, SDP to maximize the ROI for vendors.
As a Staff Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, low-latency online systems. You will work closely with the Ads management team for ads landing setup and automation, and with the Ads Serving team for all signals exchange and optimization. Your goal is to power and enhance the ads traffic results through machine learning technologies and systems.
We are looking for a tech leader who has strong technical skills and can fast learn new technologies. You should have hands-on experience in building large-scale real-time services and have a solid understanding of fundamental algorithms, system design, and large distributed systems.
The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of coding experience in Java, Go, C++, or other strong types coding languages. You should also have experience working with AWS (Amazon web services) and have a rich understanding of service-oriented architecture and web application/services development.
In addition to your technical skills, you should be able to make value contributions for both sellers and consumers. You will work on in-shop and campaign landing page dynamic experiences through machine learning technologies and systems. Your goal is to maximize the return of vendors' investment on Ads.
