MINIMUM
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
* 7 years of experience as an HR Business Partner or HR Generalist providing consultations to the business on topics such as performance management, workplace concerns, etc.
* Experience of managing multiple stakeholders.
* Ability to communicate in English and Korean fluently to manage the client relationships in the area. PREFERRED
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Experience in HR, people programs, or other large-scale people related roles.
* Experience with cross-functional collaboration and influence.
* Experience delivering exceptional customer service.
* Effective people management, teamwork and organizational skills.
* Ability to communicate in Japanese fluently, to manage the client relationships in the area. RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Provide HR support and consultation to the business, answering employee and manager questions about HR programs, policies, and other HR-related items.
* Advise on performance management issues, and lead minor investigations and reorganizations.
* Identify opportunities to improve HR policies by connecting the dots across the information and experiences provided by Googlers/Managers. Identify and propose solutions to correct HR policies and knowledge gaps.
* Manage cyclical HR programs around performance management, compensation planning, and employment engagement surveys.
* Provide career guidance and coaching to individuals and managers. Advise and facilitate team building initiatives.
