Sea Logistics Operational Care Specialist_Temp

You will be joining our Operational Care Team to add your expertise + skills to the delivery of Operational Excellence.
Your Role You will be enabling transport activities by executing bookings, entering orders + generating all required exportdocumentation while liaising with our Customer Care Specialists to ensure all requirements are met (in a timely and efficient manner). As always, these activities are in line with all relevant governance + regulatory requirements. Your Responsibilities- To create/complete shipment details in our internal transportmanagement system, coordinate with all involved stakeholders + organize transport based on the customerpromise, obtain DG approvals where required, escalating discrepancies as required.
- To monitor + report on operational performance of carriers + othervendors as well as ensuring strong data quality is available for timely + accurate customer reporting.
- To create files for consolidation containers (Master).
- To review + ensure alignment of shipping instructions includingclarifying any deviations/conflicts while taking country regulations, export compliance, rate + routinginformation into consideration.
- To issue + accurately submit/issue all required documentation(issue BAL specimen, carrier OBL instructions, VGM and security filings, sales invoices) within 24 hours ofdeparture.
- To ensure departure confirmations (or deviations v. scheduled) areshared with CCLs.
- To release BAL B/L as per Financial Guidelines + workinginstructions.
- To ensure cost awareness + efficiency through timely, accuratecost/revenue updates including profit maximization by providing cost awareness to the CCLs.
- To check + verify incoming supplier invoices, including initiating+ resolving any rate discrepancies.
- To support and resolve claims + disputes
- Temp position - 1 year Contract
- Both Native proficiency in Korean and working proficiency in English arerequired
- Successfully completed an academic degree, ideally with a focus onlogistics
- Experience in Sea Logistics preferred
- Dynamic personality and service-oriented
- Good organizational skills and proactive working manner
- Collaborative mindset– sense of urgency and proactive communication
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Advanced computer skills with emphasis on Microsoft Office suite
