Sr. AI/ML Specialist Solutions Architect

Specialist SAs play a critical role in capturing customer feedback, advocating for roadmap enhancements, and anticipating customer requirements as they work backwards from their needs. As domain experts, SSAs also participate in field engagement and enablement, producing content such as whitepapers, blogs, and workshops for customers, partners, and the AWS Technical Field.
AI/ML Specialist Solutions Architects combine technical skills in AIML and GenAI, business acumen, and technical sales skills. They are focused on supporting customers throughout the engagement lifecycle and work closely with the teams that support implementation including AWS Professional Services and Partners. SSAs unblock customers and help them get to production faster. Joining AWS as a Specialist Solutions Architect will give you opportunities to work on interesting and challenging problems, collaborate with a group of skilled practitioners focused on delivering outcomes for our customers, and be part of a diverse and inclusive community committed to being Earth’s Best Employer.
Key job responsibilities
• Educate customers of all sizes on the value proposition of AWS, and participate in deep architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud
• Conduct one-to-few and one-to-many training sessions to transfer knowledge to customers considering or already using AWS
• Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the AWS solutions architect community
• Author or otherwise contribute to AWS customer-facing publications such as whitepapers
• Build deep relationships with senior technical individuals within customers to enable them to be cloud advocates
• Act as a technical liaison between customers, partners, service engineering teams and support
• Expect international and domestic business trip.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Machine Learning (ML), Deep Learning (DL), Artificial Intelligence (AI) and GenAI experience.- 10+ years of experience working with software development, AI, ML and Deep Learning
- 10+ years of customer-facing experience, preferably in the enterprise space
- Experience developing solutions and passion for getting hands dirty with code/scripting (e.i., python, java, c#, .NET, Node.js)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 10+ years hands-on experience building complex solutions- An advanced degree in computer science, engineering or mathematics
- Knowledge and/or experience in one or more of the following: (1) Data Streaming Services and OpenSearch, (2) Database
- Strong verbal and written communications skills.
- Meets/exceeds Amazon’s leadership principles requirements for this role
- Meets/exceeds Amazon’s functional/technical depth and complexity for this role
- Fluency in English
