This role is nottailored for hiring accountants or tax experts. As a vital member of ourcompany, your primary responsibility will be to lead and oversee accounting andtax matters. One of global big 3 accounting firm will manage tasks such asaccounting audits, VAT and corporate income tax reporting. Based on yourprofessional experience and knowledge, you'll be the link between our companyand external experts, at the same time follow-up on action items with necessarydepartments within the company. Therefore, your primary role is to effectivelymanage and oversee the company's accounting and financial operations inalignment with external professional service providers.
Responsible for local accounting topics with hands-onexperience in handling full set of local accounts. Aid the regional accountants regarding IFRS topics(i.e., accounting advisory to the business, closing and reporting tasks,disclosure requirements) Be a Topic Matter coordinator for complex localaccounting topics with external accounting firm and IFRS topics with regionalaccountants. Support the third-party tax consultant (third-partyaccounting firm) for corporation tax and VAT reporting. Support third-party and intercompany foreign currencytransactions documentation for reporting to Bank of Korea and coordinatestreasury topics. Coordinate and support audit activities (internal andexternal) Support for the internal control matters for theorganization. Be a strong partner to the local business and supportthem in selected tasks. Perform financial statement reviews and follow-up onaction items in alignment between external accounting firm and the businessfinance team. Support and coordinate with external party foraccounting and tax issues in alignment with Finance manager and CFO Support ad-hoc requirements/tasks.Your profile.
Degree in Accounting and Finance or equivalent withminimum 3 of relevant working experience Professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CA) isnot mandatory. We prioritize hands-on experience and consider it more valuableand essential. Experience/working knowledge in handling corporationtax and VAT matters.
